HOW MANLY ARE YOU? PROVE IT!

This is in response to an article and a training video via Military.com, these thoughts are not just my own but also of a retired Generals. Those who have never served, shouldn't be allowed to decide and mandate how our military should be ran. I've served with weak woman and I've served with a few that I would be afraid of in a dark alley. Does this mean they have the gumption to withstand the pain? Women and War- ask me this 10 years ago and this would not be my response. Now, I see things more clearly. It sounds entirely "sexist" to those who will read it and pick it apart. So, with that- I challenge any woman willing to fight in combat-to no longer do womens physical fitness training, but that of the men's, from now on, if they can do this-then I will change my opinion, until that happens these are our findings.

A panel led by an air force general talking about ground combat? The chief of staff for the army and commandant of the marines have no comment? And some say no standards will be lowered. Give me a break, the chief and the commandant are obviously politicians espousing political views rather than warrior views, and the air force general is a poor choice to talk about ground combat. Additionally, ask any real soldier if standards have been lowered to accommodate females in particular fields? Who started and who is paying for this commission? Is this another tax drain commission on us?

This commission does three things. First, it's probably advanced by the feminist movement (I wonder who is behind this). Second, it eases the recruiting burden for the "professional army of volunteers" (making life easy for the brass). Third, it will lower physical fitness standards for infantrymen.

Again, we go back to that "lower standards", I love women in the military, but could my buddy in basic training pull me out of a fox hole- no. I'm a realist. I see "celebrity career" all over this for some women, and yet others I see very ignorant and dangerous for our men. Some women are obviously more manly than some men (stronger physically and mentally). But does this mean we turn the world upside down to advance the feminist movement or to insure equal consideration for promotion? If we can't recruit enough males maybe we should return to a "service to country agenda" for all males. This might even help by reducing unemployment while teaching our males to be men while enhancing their understanding of responsibility and duty to country and family.

There is an agenda reason behind this commission and their feeble attempt to start a political discussion on this issue.

AMERICA, FREEDOM AND THE GREAT MYTH

I love how people tend to expose America as being the "Freest Country in the World". What planet are you from and how did you ever come to that determination exactly? Nothing is free in America unless your an Illegal. Those who pay taxes are well aware of just what freedom we have. Who has driven down the interstate and saw a speed limit sign? Funny I don't think Germany has that on their Autobahn. Okay, now let's go to Amsterdam, drugs- they are "legal", now lets move on to Mexico where you can purchase steroids over the counter and Property taxes- what is that? How about the Insurance that you can get if you move to Cabo San Lucas, which is about 40% cheaper than the United States insurance.
Our First Amendment, Freedom of Speech, funny because you can't dare use anything that's not politically correct or someone can be offended and slap a lawsuit on you. The 2nd Amendment, well it's only if you pay your dues and have never had a Felony, wait a felony can be from a DUI charge, which must in fact make you a hardened criminal and land you in the "Big House" because you drink alcohol which is perfectly legal if your over 21. How about that drinking age, in Europe there isn't any and in Mexico it's 18.
How about our banks in America, they want our kids social security numbers, and they now photo copy your driver's license if you withdraw more than $2000.00, or how about their checking fee's. Not so free are they? Every time someone doesn't like something, they implement a new law, which in FACT takes more and more of our FREEDOMS from us. I see it all the time, someone will complain that they don't like the way someone was driving and out comes a new law, next it will be fining people for standing in a line the wrong way. When does it end exactly?
So, the next time someone tell's me we live in a Free Society, I will hold you to it and sing Amazing Grace at my daughter's school in front of the Muslims who attend. By the way, enjoy your pork chops while you can still get them, I hear they are "offensive".
